clrfiles.2We were delighted to spot this piece from Socialist Challenge 3rd July 1980 issue on the Marxists Internet Archive (MIA)

The article features a conversation between Tariq Ali and C.L.R. James which is both interesting and informative. Areas covered include the arrival of C.L.R. James in Britain in the 1930s, his early literary influences, the class nature of the Soviet Union, Stokely Carmichael and, inevitably, cricket.
