The League For Socialist Action

July 18, 2016

LSA Labour PartyAs well as reproducing material from the mainstream of the IMG / FI tradition, we also intend to look at some of the smaller groups which split from or fused with the IMG.

The League for Socialist Action is a group which did both!

The LSA was a group of supporters of the US SWP Tendency in the Fourth International which split from the IMG in the mid-1970s. It produced a paper- Socialist Action – and a number of pamphlets, two of which are below.

LSA members were active in the Labour Party and later merged again with the IMG in 1982 when its members too joined the Labour Party.
